Rachel and Mackie’s engagement photos! I met them a while ago and have been looking forward for this photo shoot!! We walked around the down town, NYC, the High Line, the new trendy spot (?), Chelsea, the Hudson River, etc. Rachel and Mackie looking very nice, walking and chatting ahead of me and me looking very bulky with a camera and 3 or 4 big bags on my shoulder following them. Yes, I am a photographer… Anyway, the photo shoot went very smooth and well. They looked naturally nice and both were good at being in front of camera. I guess it’s because they both are musicians and used to be in front of people. They are going to have a wedding in this fall and I can’t wait to photograph them again!!

Sean and Elizabeth; Surprise Engagement
Sean and Elizabeth just got engaged! He was planning a surprise engagement proposal to her. Sean and I had a “secret” meeting in advance and talked about the process of the photo shoot. On the day of the photo shoot, it started to rain a little bit and I was a little worried, because the photo shoot was planned in the evening and if it keeps raining of course it’ll be hard to shoot and also it’ll be dark quicker. When they arrived, fortunately the rain stopped and the sky cleared! Elizabeth looked so happy when he proposed. I am very happy for you two! Congratulations!
Music for Kids
This is the first photo on my blog and I wanted to find something that is positive. I love music (maybe not as much as photography, but I really do) and I often photograph music. This year when I was in Savannah, GA, to photograph a music festival, I was impressed by this musician, Roger Day. He is soooooooo goood at playing music for kids!!!! Every single kids in the room was so into his music, words and actions! How cute are they…
